Enviro-Tech secured a successful tender bid to install a 600kw chiller unit including associated fan coils to a new build Head Office for Kyowa Kirin in Galashiels Scotland. The project was specified by a project consultant and required regular meetings across the 12-week project plan to discuss initial specification, amendments to the specification as the project developed and progress of the project schedule.

Due to the nature of the new build Enviro-Tech were working alongside other contractors on site, on occasion it was necessary to amend the schedule of work to the chiller installation as a result of other contractors areas of work falling behind schedule. This was resolved due to excellent relationships with the project team and regular meetings with all parties concerned to re-negotiate time scales.

As the project developed amendments were made to the original scope of the job as internal room designs were changed. This resulted in Enviro-Tech repositioning internal fan-coil units which resulted in changes to the original sizing of the units installed. As fan coil units had been ordered and delivered to site these needed to be returned and replaced by our suppliers. As Enviro-Tech have excellent relationships with local suppliers we were able to respond to these amendments quickly with limited impact on the time scale of the overall project.
