Case Study: Heating Upgrade at Normanby St George’s Church
Restoring Reliable Heating with Panasonic Heat Pump Systems
At Envirotech MS, we recently completed a heating upgrade project at St George’s Church in Normanby, helping improve comfort and efficiency within the church building during the colder winter months.
The church had been struggling with insufficient heating, making it difficult to maintain comfortable temperatures for visitors, staff and congregation members — particularly during services and community events.
The Challenge
Like many older buildings and churches, maintaining reliable and efficient heating can be difficult, especially during periods of colder weather.
The existing heating arrangement at St George’s Church was no longer providing adequate warmth throughout the building, resulting in uncomfortable indoor conditions during winter.
The church required a solution that would:
- Improve heating performance
- Provide better temperature control
- Offer improved energy efficiency
- Deliver reliable long-term operation
- Be suitable for the existing building layout
The Solution
Following a site survey and discussions with the client, Envirotech MS designed and installed a new heating solution using six Panasonic 10kW wall mounted heat pump systems.
The installation was completed during December, ensuring the church could benefit from improved heating during the winter season.
The new systems provide:
- Efficient heating performance
- Fast warm-up times
- Improved temperature control
- Quiet operation
- Energy-efficient heat pump technology
Wall mounted systems were selected to suit the building layout while helping distribute heat more effectively throughout the church.
